About Peace Movement Qigong

Peace Movement Qigong was founded by accredited Qigong instructor Anna M. Pergola to teach and promote the art and craft of Qigong through group and private lessons, custom presentations and worksite wellness programs.

Anna was initially accredited as an instructor in 1997, and her on-going studies continue to inform her practice and teaching.  She has shared the wide range of Qigong benefits with students enrolled in classes at recreation centers, health clubs, hospital wellness programs and private studios.  Currently Anna teaches classes at the Susan M. Duncan YMCA, Glendale Sports Center,  Full Moon Books & Events Center, Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (worksite wellness) and for Recovering Spirit LLC, as part of a holistic program assisting those recovering from addiction.

In addition to on-going classes, Anna has presented Qigong at workshops and retreats for various organizations including Jefferson County Public Schools, Colorado Department of Education, Corner Cupboard Tea Room, Special District Association, The Tennyson Center for Children and OLLI West/University of Denver Speaker Series.  She has also worked as a Falls Prevention Specialist for the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment, assisting in administering grant-funded falls prevention programs directed at older adults.  She is currently pleased to continue her involvement in falls prevention and chronic disease prevention and management as a team member at the Consortium for Older Adult Wellness.
